In partnership with HBO’s new documentary Black & Missing. I had the honor of contributing artwork for a very important documentary by HBO, Virtue and the BAMFI (Black and Missing Foundation) - the Black and Missing Documentary. The doc highlights issues around the disproportionate number of missing black individuals in America, whose stories are much too often ignored and overlooked. To raise awareness and support this powerful cause, we set out to reimagine the typical 'missing person' poster, and create something unmissable to highlight the beauty and life of those who've gone missing (in the artwork - Keeshae Jacobs (missing since 2016), and Larry Stackhouse (missing since 2005). Knowing that these pieces will be given directly to the families in support of their search is genuinely heartwarming, and the hope is that these can be used as a strong tool to continue the conversation around the whereabouts of their loved ones.
