A personal project, I created a fictional ad campaign for Nike, imagining Cinderella’s ‘glass slipper’ concept as a new sports shoe to be released. Aimed at sportswomen, the quote ‘…so she just went to the ball anyway. The end.’ is intended to speak to the Cinderella story, where she is not permitted to go to the ball. Throughout sports history, women have more than proved worthy of their accolades and qualification through incredible performances in their respective sports - the ad series is a commentary on their continual ability to demand respect, even if it’s not willingly given to them by their industry in the same way men receive.
